Find Your Tribe
I’ve been very blessed to experience life amongst many kinds of people. The rich, the poor. The happy, the sad. And all in between. The one thing I’ve come to find to believe that we all have in common is that we can be all of the above. There are many walks of life. It all depends on how you play the game.
tribe
/trīb/
noun
1.
a social division in a traditional society consisting of families or communities linked by social, economic, religious, or blood ties, with a common culture and dialect, typically having a recognized leader.
Because there are so many walks of life, it is customary to walk with companions. These companions can be your parents, your siblings, your family, your friends, your opponents, your enemies, your opposition, your teammates, your teachers, your leaders, your followers.
Every day is a new walk of life. For seasons you may walk with the same companions. In an instant, they will gone. Some will return to you. Others will join you. Some will betray. The best will remain loyal. One may commit to walk with you forever.
com·pan·ion
/kəmˈpanyən/
noun
1.
a person or animal with whom one spends a lot of time or with whom one travels.
Find your tribe. You may have many tribes. You could be the bridge to connect tribes. At times, you may be the match that burns one down. Never forget, every day is a new walk of life. You will experience what every single one of us could experience during one of the many walks we take each day. But that’s just one day. Your lifetime is unique only to you. Appreciate it and the companions you walk with along the way.
