The Power of Thought
thought
/THôt/
noun
1.
an idea or opinion produced by thinking, or occurring suddenly in the mind.
“There’s nothing more powerful than an idea.” The simplicity of that statement demonstrates its truth by whether or not you believe it. If you believe it, then you begin to wonder how to receive that power. It’s best to treat ideas like seeds in a garden. The seeds you water and attend to reflect the fruit that is produced. Good ideas produce good fruit. Bad ideas produce rotten fruit. Therefore, it is important that we become better gardeners. With more experience, you are more selective about what seeds you even allow to be planted.

/ˈfōkəs/
verb
1.
(of a person or their eyes) adapt to the prevailing level of light and become able to see clearly.
2.
pay particular attention to.
“It is impossible to have two ideas simultaneously.” The simplicity of that statement demonstrates its truth by whether or not you believe it. If that’s the case, whatever we focus on has more power in our lives. So which of the following is better to think about:
“I’m having a bad day.”
“I can have a better day.”
We get to choose which fruit we bear at any given moment. Now that’s power.
